The City has received a request to initiate a General Plan Amendment (GPA) for a 16.42-acre site located at the southwest corner of Sunflower Street and Day Lily Drive, in the Roberts Ranch Subdivision. On March 28, 2017, the Vacaville City Council approved the Roberts’ Ranch Specific Plan, which designated this site as Public Facilities for a future school. The Applicant is requesting to change the General Plan land use designation for a portion of the site (12.77 acres) from Public/Institutional to Residential Low-Medium Density to create 82 lots for single-family detached residential development. The remaining portion (3.65 acres) would remain designated as Public Facilities (PF) to be used by Kairos for the Kairos Public School Vacaville Academy Campus.
