Meritage Homes is requesting a Design Review to construct seven house plans on 194 lots in the Villages at Vanden Meadows subdivision Units 2, 3, & 4, located on the southwest corner of Preston Street and Shefford Drive. Five of the seven house plans are from the previously approved development plan for the Villages at Vanden House Plans and were originally approved in October 2021 (File No. 21-228). The Villages at Vanden House Plans project was approved to construct five house plans on 81 lots in Units 1A and 1B and five house plans on 113 lots in Units 2 and 4. The two additional house plans consist of two two-story plans ranging in floor area from 1,651 sq. ft. to 1,823 sq. ft. Exterior building materials consist of stucco or board and batten siding with brick veneer, stone ledges, and flat shake roofing. Architectural themes include Santa Barbara, Coastal, and Farmhouse styles.
