The project proposal is to amend the Villages at Vanden Development Agreement (DA) for the purpose of extending the term limit by three years. The original DA was adopted by the City Council on October 22, 2013 with a 10-year term ending on November 22, 2023. The amendment would extend the term until November 22, 2026 to allow the developer to construct the remaining unbuilt portion of Village G in the Villages at Vanden Subdivision. Village G consists of 97 single-family cluster/courtyard homes with frontage improvements along Vanden Road. Pursuant to Section 15162 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the project is within the scope of the previously adopted Vanden Meadows Environmental Impact Report (SCH No. 2011022008), which adequately described the impacts of this project and meets the requirements of CEQA. No additional environmental review is required.
