The City of Vacaville received a request from Agape, LLC. to initiate a General Plan Map Amendment to change the land use designation of a vacant 1.93-acre site located at the northeast corner of Vanden Road and Cogburn Circle, from Neighborhood Commercial to Residential Medium Density (8.1-14.0 units/acre). The project would replace the remaining commercial site in Southtown with 21 lots for single-family detached residential development. The project includes architectural house plans for three two-story models ranging in floor area from 1,591 sq. ft. to 2,074 sq. ft., with a maximum building height of 30 ft. The anticipated architecture themes consist of California Ranch, Neo-Prairie, and Modern Farmhouse design themes. The proposal is comparable in scale and density to the existing Ashton Place Unit 3 development located at the northwest corner of Vanden Road and Cogburn Circle. Access to the project would be provided from Vanden Road and an internal street within Southtown Phase 3.
